The Administrative Coordinator reports directly to the Registrar, acting as the Registrars primary coordinator and liaison. Assumes responsibility to respond to requests, operational monitoring, and public relations activities. Responsible for management of the Registrars calendar and activities to ensure high value time utilization in relationship to external and internal requirements. Briefly update the Registrar on upcoming meetings and obligations. Responsible for the timely preparation and presentation of materials for key external and internal meetings. Drafts documents or conducts research to further assist the Registrar within the scope of the Registrars leadership. Works with the MN-S departments to prepare for meetings, presentations, events, and ensures timely follow up of all action items. Organizes travel arrangements and prepares expense reports. Provides regular operating status reports to Registrar including monitoring of budgets. Serves as a point of contact and link between employees, internal departments, and external parties, attends meetings, takes minutes, prepares various materials for reports; works with the Registrar and Registry Team to prepare materials for the quarterly & annual reports. Supports the Registrar in dealing with confidential or sensitive governance or other departmental matters.
Job Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in a senior administrative or coordinator support role. Minimum 1-year Public Relations education or experience. Recognized course in Business Administration. Advanced computer skills including knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License; and ability to manage highway driving, out of province flights and accommodate occasional overnight travel required. Clean Criminal record check.
