The Vanguard Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the position of Retail Manager.

With sales of approxiamately 3 million, Vanguard Co-op provides services in agriculture, petroleum, oil, hardware and grocery.
The Retail manager will be responsible for guiding the overall retail to success. As a self-motivated individual, the successful applicant will be hard working, flexible, and hands on with a strong customer focus. The Reatil Manager will be involved in all aspects of management including: recruitment, training, development, and performance management.
Responsibilites include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for administration, co-ordination and control of all aspects of the retail.
Ensuring daily succes of the retail with a hands on approach.
Responsible for inventory ordering and control.
Delivering fuel to customers.
Scheduling and directing team members.
Developing and adhering to budgets for all departments.
Providing leadership in planning and policy development.
Ensuring appropriate resources are effectively allocated.
Act as a liason for the retail between the community and clients.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of retail management experience would be an asset.
3A License
Strong financial acumen and communication skills.
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
