Description

Responsibilities:
-Ensure that the Integrated Management System (IMS) adds value to the McClean Lake Operation and is maintained and improved in accordance with Orano requirements, regulatory commitments, and the ISO 14001/45001 standards
-Prepare audit plans
-Manage the non-conformance process
-Track actions arising from non-conformances, internal audits and management reviews
-Track regulatory commitments and obligations
-Liaison with regulatory agencies and Regulatory Relations Manager, as required
-Responsible for ensuring site licensing documents are current and help ensure site activities are in compliance with licenses and approvals
-Coordinate the contributions of technical specialists in the review of regulatory submissions including applications and notifications
-Stay current with advancements and changes in the regulatory environment
-Supervision of the Management Systems Technicians
-Monitor site activity compliance with licenses/approvals/permits/requirements
-Perform internal audits

Skills and Qualifications:
-Relevant experience in a regulatory environment dealing with provincial and/or federal legislation
-Natural ability to lead and develop strong relationships
-Ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
-Excellent analytical skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to excel in a multi-disciplined team environment
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite
-Familiarity of the uranium mining industry or regulatory/licensing processes would be a strong asset

Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake Mine Site
-14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours is occasionally required
