PARTNERS Family Services is hiring a dedicated full time Family Support Worker. Responsibilities include working directly with families in their homes in the areas of parenting, child development, life skills, etc; transportation as required; and monitoring supervised visits. The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Humboldt area and be available for evening/weekend hours. Hours are 30 hours per week.
This position is to begin as soon as possible.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recent experience working with children, youth or families
- Certificate/diploma/degree related to social services, humanities, early childhood education, youth care, etc. is required
- Valid First Aid/CPR at time of hire
- Criminal record and vulnerable person check
- Satisfactory driver's abstract
- Valid Sask driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with sufficient insurance at time of hire
