Meridian Surveys Ltd. is seeking an accountant to handle all daily and monthly accounting tasks.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of five (5) years experience in Sage 300 and proficient in Microsoft Office products. The candidate must be an independent self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Meridian Surveys has 10 offices in Western Canada. This is a full-time position based in our corporate head office in Saskatoon.
Remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience. Meridian also offers an above market group health benefits plan.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Data entry and maintenance of A/R, A/P and General Ledger
Preparation of monthly financial statements
Prepare payroll and related CRA remittances
File GST and PST returns
Work with auditor for all year-end financial statement preparation
Administrative support
Other duties as required
