The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) protects consumers and the public interest and supports economic well-being through responsive marketplace regulation. FCAA enhances consumer protection through licensing, registration, disclosure, audit, complaint handling and enforcement activities pursuant to various provincial statutes.
The Securities Division of FCAA protects investors by regulating the sale of securities and derivatives in Saskatchewan. Within its Enforcement Branch, we are seeking an experienced law enforcement professional to fill our Investigator position.
As a successful candidate, you will be part of a team which conducts investigations into breaches of Saskatchewan securities law. These in-depth investigations will challenge your knowledge of the Canadian Criminal Code procedures and practice, rules of evidence, and draw upon your previous experience and training as a senior investigator with a law enforcement agency.
To qualify for this position, you must have a university degree in criminology or criminal justice or have successfully completed a recognized Canadian Police College Training program. Knowledge of the securities and derivatives industry and completion of the Canadian Securities Course would be considered assets. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to complete the Exempt Market Products Course.
