The Northwest School Division #203 invites applications for a Permanent full-time Network Administrator based out of the Meadow Lake office, Meadow Lake, SK. This position will commence October 18, 2019 or on a mutually agreed upon date.  

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the Network Administrator provides remote and onsite support to ensure the effective and efficient use of technology for administrative purposes as well as an instructional tool. The Network Administrator works with, or under the direction of the IT Manager in maintaining the complete network infrastructure of the school division. The Network Administrator shall organize, carry out and/or assist in all the computer technology areas within the Division with a focus on: Network/Security/Telephony infrastructures, administration, testing, maintenance, deployment and knowledge sharing. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, organized and motivated team player, with clear written and verbal communication skills, and able to work under minimal supervision. Without limiting the generality of the description above, the candidate should have in-depth knowledge of enterprise network switching & routing, wireless technologies, VoIP phone systems, enterprise NextGen firewalls, web content filtering, cloud technologies, security best practices and disaster recovery strategies. Candidates should possess a diploma in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.  Candidates require a valid class 5 drivers license.
