The Regina Open Door Society (RODS) is a non-profit organization that provides settlement and integration services to refugees and immigrants in Regina. The Regina Open Door Society Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to staff the full time term position of Youth Program Coordinator. The term for this position is October 16, 2019 to January 31, 2020
Reporting to the Welcoming Community Team Leader and Manager of Settlement and Family Unit, the Youth Program Coordinator provides the development and planning of programs activities that assist newcomer youth to become familiar with their community and establish supportive social networks and become thriving members of their community.
The Coordinator encourages and promotes a supportive environment for at-risk youth to address barriers they may be experiencing. The coordinator works in cooperation with volunteers, youth serving organizations and other groups and organizations in the community to determine the needs of youth and develop strategies to address the identified
