Purpose:
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Shop Foreman is responsible for the effective supervision of the Service Department to ensure that quality standards and productivity requirements are met. The individual acts as the Service Manager when the Manager is away from the dealership and provides quotes and estimates to customers as required, review work orders with customers, directs closing of work orders and collects payment for work orders or directs Service Administrative staff to collect payment as appropriate.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Service Technician or similar
Highly skilled in maintenance and repair of Agricultural equipment.
Solid coaching skills
Demonstrated level of maturity
Ability to use standard computer desktop applications
Ability to speak effectively one-on-one or within a group.
Basic understanding of financial principles related to Service Department operations.
Excellent negotiation / conflict resolution skills
Above average organization skills
