Fire Sand Glass is looking for a hardworking, reliable, team oriented individual who pays close attention to detail and wants to learn about the glass industry. An individual who strives to provide the best quality of work each and every day. Someone who enjoys a fast paced environment, learning new things, having a sense of accomplishment and working with their hands. Key responsibilities include:
Working with the cutting table, edger, CNC and tempering furnace.
Assisting with loading of orders for customers and company delivery truck.
Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the glass equipment machines.
Identifying quality issues with products being fabricated.
Cleaning of work area and shop on regular basis.
Successful candidates will have:
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to lift a minimum of 70lbs
Basic understanding of math, fractions and how to use and read a tape measure.
Glass experience is not required but considered an asset.
This is an opportunity to learn and grow within the company to a supervisor role.
