What youll do:    
1. Provide outstanding courteous customer service
2. When assigned, to be responsible for the receiving, inspecting and storage of merchandise
3. Inspect all merchandise and communicate to the Produce Manager when excessive spoilage, shrinkage and shortages in inventory are evident
4. Prepare, assemble and display all produce department related inventories
5. Ensure all specified overnight care and department handling procedures are adhered to
6. When assigned, maintain adequate inventory levels and stock control procedures
7. Provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures and clean equipment regularly
8. Be familiar with and adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the co-operative and government regulations
9. To be familiar with and adhere to Southern Plains Co-op policies and procedures
10. Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude
11. Dependable for all scheduled shifts
12. Adhere to all safety policy and procedures
13. Other duties as assigned

 - Stock shelves and display areas
 - Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
 - Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom
 - Keep stock clean and in order
 - Direct customers to location of articles sought
 - Customer service oriented
 - Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
 - Order stock
 - Record incoming stock
 - Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)
