The Saskatoon-based 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art fabrication facility of Black & McDonald is seeking to hire a Sheet Metal Apprentice/Journeyperson. Reporting to the Project Manager and/or Foreman, the duties for this unionized shop-based position would include:
Setting up and operating shears, brakes and plasma tables to cut and form sheet metal
Operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts.
Read and interpret blue prints
Drill and punch holes in metal
Operate hand power tools
Maintain equipment and work area ensuring Corporate Safety Guidelines are adhered to
Major Work Area
