We are currently recruiting for an Essential Skills for the Workplace (ESWP)Instructor. The Instructor will provide instruction and tutorial support to adults registered in the program. Areas of instruction include math, reading, science, communications, and work/life skills.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to; classroom management; taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis; monitoring student progress and submitting reports on a regular basis; and perform other related duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this positions is a Bachelor of Education Degree; Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate; knowledge of and training in Adult Education principles and practices and proven ability to facilitate adult learners; Knowledge of Adult Basic Education Levels and associated learning outcomes; Instructional experiences in a cross-cultural adult education setting; strong planning, organizational and classroom management skills are essential; Experience in the field of inclusive education is mandatory; Familiarity with blended learning principles and PLATO Learning environment is desirable. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
