Seeking PSW on a part time basis. Permanent hours would be Wed 1pm-5pm, Thursday 730 am - 430 pm and Friday 730 am - 4:30pm with the possibility of extended hours on the weekend. The successful candidate will be outgoing and friendly, enjoy music, socialising and have a wonderful sense of humor! Ideally this person would have experience or a willingness to learn personal care duties, be comfortable with medication administration and a working knowledge of tube feeding (or a willingness to gain this knowledge). A requirement of this position will be the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position (transfer, lift & reposition) and a working belief of dignity and respect in a person centered environment. This position will require the successful implementation of daytime programming which includes swimming, recreational activities , community outings and genuine relationship building.
