POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Camecos tax group has an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic accounting professional to assist in fulfilling the requirements of the corporate tax function.  This position will work with the finance team, external service advisors and a variety of other business units within Cameco to optimize Camecos corporate structure and minimize the effective tax rate and cash taxes. This is done through the preparation of the consolidated tax provision and in meeting Cameco's global tax compliance and audit defence requirements related to income tax, excise taxes and withholding taxes. You will also assist in researching and providing tax advisory services on various corporate initiatives worldwide.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Bachelors degree in accounting
    Enrolment in (or willingness to enrol) CPA Canada in-depth tax course
    At least three years of experience in corporate tax
Assets:
    SAP experience
    Multi-national enterprise experience
    Accounting designation
