A position is available for a Superintendent. The objective of the successful person in his position is to manage (or assist in managing)the Labour Team (including any subcontractors), and assist in providing leadership and mentoring. The Carpenter will communicate with the Superintendent and or Project Manager to ensure that jobs are completed on time and under budget.
The Superintendent will:
-manage projects in an organized fashion
-manage staff to achieve required results
-follow all company policies and procedures
-train and develop support staff
-work with the Superintendent to ensure manpower, materials and equipment are available in a timely fashion
-work well with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Our successful applicant will:
-be understanding of normal and accepted construction methods in concrete, steel, and wood frame construction
-be able to make quality decisions in a changing environment
-possess a proactive, problem solving orientation
-be able to achieve timely, quality results
-be able to analyze situations to determine the correct course of action
-be able to direct and motivate staff
