Description

Must be able to meet required security clearance such as background checks, police clearance and Health Canada Security Clearance.

You will have experience in 3rd party and internal audits, complaint and recall programs, releasing materials and finished products, writing and reviewing SOPs, sanitation programs, and general QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.  Working knowledge of GMP and associated regulatory standards (HACCP, Food&Drugs Regulations) is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Enforcing QA and regulatory standards to ensure compliance, while providing technical assistance to production staff
Coordinating internal audits and identifying opportunities for enhancement
Managing environmental monitoring program
Involvement in supplier management
Review of analytical results and production records for the release of finished products
Deviation review and CAPA implementation
Non-conformance reporting and trending
Overseeing qualification activities, including equipment assessment
Organizing validation of new production processes
Assist in training of new protocols and procedures
Skills and Requirements
BSc. Degree or higher in biological or chemical science, or related post-secondary education
Min of 3yr in a regulated (GMP, GLP, HACCP) manufacturing environment
Experience in (establishing and) maintaining controlled documents (standards, policies, procedures, work flows), and an understanding of good documentation practices
Good interpersonal communication skills, able to relate information to all levels of the organization
Ability to interpret documents such as procedures, operating instructions, and test results
Self-directed and a high degree of personal integrity
Attention to detail, organizational skills, critical thinking
Familiarity of the Cannabis Act/ Cannabis Regulations, ACMPR is preferred, but not required Good observation skills
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
