Description

Maintains, operates and repairs a 4th Class plant/energy centre system.

Education:
Power Engineering Technician Certificate.  4th Class Power Engineering Certification.

Experience:
No Previous Work Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently.  Intermediate computer skills.  Intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical trades.  Ability to read blueprints and schematics.  Ability to enter into confined spaces.  Previous experience in operation of water tube boilers & water testing.  Understanding of chiller operation & general steam plant preventative maintenance would be preferred.  Must be able to work all shifts, days, nights and weekends on short notice (2 hours or less).  Will be required to change shift schedules with minimum required notice.
