The Prince Albert Tourism and Marketing Bureau is looking for an outgoing individual with exceptional customer service skills and a passion for promoting Prince Albert. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences by providing information and assistance to customers in order to promote Prince Albert. Throughout the summer you will assist visitors and residents with questions about accommodations, events, attractions, and things to see and do in the City, gather and compile visitor statistics, participate in gift shops sales and inventory procedures, as well as attend and promote events.
The Visitor Services Representative will focus on the areas of customer and information service relating to Prince Albert and its businesses and attractions. Additionally, you will be required to monitor our inventory of product and publications ensuring that supply is always available to visitors. Lastly, some assistance will be required in the area of promotions and communications as we work together as a team to promote the city. This could be on social media or through special projects.
First and foremost, your work will help engage visitors and create positive experiences for them.
We welcome all applicants although priority will be given to those who show a strong background in one or more of the desired focus areas including communications, hospitality, tourism and recreation, journalism, retail, visual arts and social media. Must work well independently and as a team managing your time around projects and be willing to work weekends and some evenings.
