Technical Services Use standards of professional librarianship to create original catalogue records and edit bibliographic records available through online sources Provide on-site support for school libraries (i.e. de-selection, data entry, inventory, automated library software support) Prepare and process materials for circulation (barcode, laminate, add holdings, label) Maintain the Professional Library collection Create resource bibliographies Assist in the coordination of various aspects of the annual book display Perform telephone services (receiving/directing inquiries, booking requests, etc.) Compose written correspondence (emails, faxes, memos and notices) Assist with essential tasks beyond normal office hours in the absence of the Library Technical Services Manager Accounting/Acquisition Services: Process elementary library and ILS orders (vendor selection, purchase order creation, receiving, invoice payment, and maintaining acquisition records) Prepare journal entries Maintain inventory of office supplies (order, receive, store and distribute) Textbook/Serials Services Coordinate the redistribution of elementary textbooks and the rebinding of textbooks Maintain professional journals and school magazines (ordering, receiving, invoicing, forecasting, cataloguing, system routing) Maintain surplus collections textbooks and supplemental textbook resources Administrative Assistant Services Provide Administrative Assistant support for the Coordinator Maintain petty cash Other duties as assigned by the Information & Library Services (ILS
