The Rural Municipality of Francis No. 127 is currently accepting applications to fill an upcoming vacancy for an Administrator.

The Rural Municipality of Francis No. 127 has a population of 674 and rooted in agriculture with a strong industrial tax base.  Being twelve townships in size, the municipality encompasses the urban municipalities of Vibank, Odessa, Sedley and Francis, with the Municipal Office located in the Town of Francis approximately 60km from Regina and 45km from Weyburn.  

Being supported by a full-time Office Assistant and working closely with the Reeve and Council, you will be responsible for managing the constantly changing and increasingly complex day-to day affairs of a thriving rural municipality.

Administrator applicants must have the following qualifications:
    Certificate in Local Government Administration or equivalent
    Rural Class C certificate or higher (at least 3 years of experience preferred)
    Experience with MuniSoft software including the Tax Roll, General Ledger, Hail, Accounts Payable and PubWorks programs
    Strong communication, management, organizational, and inter-personal skills
    Agricultural, commercial and residential development experience
    Experience with financial planning and asset management
