Must have experience developing athletes into elite hockey players and exceptional young adults.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
Must be able to create workout plans for on-ice and off-ice regimens, and design in-season curriculum for short- and long-term goals.
Must work in tandem with GM to develop and implement playing systems / structure in order to maximize results from roster.
Must, at GM's discretion, assist GM in talent evaluation, scouting, and roster construction.
Must manage relationships and liaise between player parents and Hockey Ops, and between Hockey Ops and Board of Directors.
Must be a team player and be willing to work together to come up with strategies that are crucial to the success of the organization and its personnel.
Must maintain a professional presence on and off the ice, as will represent the Maulers organization and all it stands for.
Must have experience in recruiting student athletes throughout the season, while maintaining the integrity of the organization and the SMAAAHL.
Must take a leadership role alongside GM in planning and running spring and fall hockey camps.
Must promote, market and advertise the organization, including organizing player participation in these activities.
Must have some experience with administrative duties in a hockey operations setting, and be willing to assist GM in administrative tasks.
Must have or obtain proper level of coaching certifications (e.g.: HP-I).
