The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, its members, business services, programs, events and brand by development and execution of an external marketing and communications plan and strategy that supports the goals and objectives of the organization.
The successful candidate for the position of Marketing and Communications Coordinator must be an expert in written and verbal communication. Responsible for continually expanding the range of Chamber communications to include all forms of electronic and printed communications to ensure effective, timely and comprehensive communication of information on the Chamber. Developing and executing marketing campaigns, contribute editorial content and/or support the creation and production of printed materials for the Business Voice magazine, newsletters, press releases, ads and brochures, special events planning, projects and video production.
The individual must possess a thorough understanding of website management, marketing, and public relations. The position demands an eye for detail, extreme accuracy with the written word, and the ability to work under pressure and on deadline as part of a team. A candidate with a bachelors degree (and/or related experience) and demonstrated success in communication, marketing, graphic design, and production of publications is preferred.
