Description

The Human Resources department is seeking a skilled, analytical and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills for a Training and Development Consultant position.  Reporting to the Director, Human Resources; this position will assist with the design, development and implementation of eHealths Learning Strategy.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop a comprehensive corporate Learning Strategy for eHealth which includes: creating a strategy and supporting business case, conducting a company-wide needs analysis, identifying suitable learning methods and approaches, analyzing, tracking and reporting on training spending, identifying and implementing metrics, and analyzing return on investment, and evaluation methods to achieve a long-term investment in developing and retaining talent to improve business performance and organizational growth.
Working with HR team members, Managers and Directors, and the Knowledge Management Team, design or modify existing training content and programs to support the achievement of the organization's operational and strategic goals (e.g. Customer Service, Leadership Development, Organizational policies and procedures (including Code of Conduct, Corrective Discipline, Workplace Harassment etc.) using a variety of approaches (e.g. e-learning, microlearning, classroom, one-on-one, group facilitation, just-in-time learning, lunch and learns, etc.)
Responsible for the employee onboarding program.

What are we looking for?
A post-secondary degree in Adult Education or Training and Development.
A Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations or Change Management degree supplemented by specialized courses, a diploma or certificate in Adult, Continuing Education or Training & Development would also be considered;
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Training and Development ideally in a complex and diverse organization of between 350 and 500+ employees.
