Description

Bourgault Industries is a leading global manufacturer of technologically advanced seeding & tillage equipment. Our mission is to design & manufacture the highest quality, most durable and reliable farm equipment in the world! We are looking for an innovative, hands-on Tooling Design Engineer/Tech to join our team at our corporate headquarters in St. Brieux.

Responsibilities:
- Design tooling for weld, robot weld, and CNC mill fixtures
- Catalog, organize, and develop maintenance schedules for all tooling
- Develop and document standard work
- Implement lean manufacturing principles on the production floor and in the office
- Review & coordinate engineering changes
- Design equipment, tooling, or processes to improve safety, quality or productivity issues
- Design processes and process layouts using lean principles to minimize waste
- Conduct time studies to develop base times or evaluate different processes

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Strong industrial/manufacturing engineering background
- Knowledge of tooling design is a strong asset
- Extensive knowledge & application of lean manufacturing principles
- 3D CAD experience is required (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong computer skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
