Brandt Industries Ltd. is seeking an individual to fill the new position of Assistant Controller at the companys Head Office in Regina, Saskatchewan. The position will be focused on Brandt Developments Ltd., our expanding Construction, Design, and Real Estate Management Company, as well as our already extensive and growing commercial real estate portfolio.
Reporting to the Divisional Controller, the Assistant Controller is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, producing monthly financial results for the operating branches within Brandt, reporting and providing analysis on projects and monthly results to Senior management, managing the monthly and annual financial reporting and budgeting process, and management of various projects within the Finance Department.
This position requires a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, forward thinking and the ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment are essential attributes for this role. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, and have a professional accounting designation (such as CPA). Previous industry experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems and Sage 300 would be considered as asset.
