The Ramada Plaza Hotel is seeking experienced dynamic and motivated individuals for the position of banquet supervisor. The successful candidate must possess a passion for banquet services, a keen eye and, a strong desire to ensure our guests are pampered and attended to in the most professional manner.
Working with the Banquet Manager and along side other banquet supervisors the successful candidates will direct and assist the service personal with their daily responsibilities ensuring guest services are delivered in a timely fashion and the ability to assume a service role in critical moments.
Assisting in the training and development of banquet personal including banquet porters, bartenders, and servers, the candidates must possess a knowledge of all banquet set up styles including bar set up, room set up, and food service styles according to the guests needs and wishes.
This opportunity requires an individual with open availability including daytime, evenings, and weekends with the ability and confidence to work unsupervised if required.
Key responsibilities
Knowledge in banquet event order interpretation and information.
Ability to lead and direct service personal.
Able to handle and record cash/cc/debit transactions.
Critical thinking and decision making skills.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent communication skills.
