- Work in cooperation with the Community Ministries Program Supervisor, Adopt a Family coordinator and other front line staff in planning, organizing and screening of all Christmas Applications
- Provide front line support to clients seeking Christmas Assistance
- Verify client qualifications and personal information provided on applications
- Data entry (program specific software)
- Provided support with Christmas Hamper and toy distribution
- Assist with Christmas related duties within Community Ministries
- Other duties as required
- Ability and willingness to work in compliance with the mission, vision and values of The Salvation Army
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual
-Possess strong computer skills and ability to operate office equipment (telephones, photocopiers, fax machines etc.)
The successful candidate must have a clean criminal record and vulnerable check, minimum grade 12 education, with experience in Social Services delivery an asset.
