Baydo Development Corporation is a professional land and real estate developer based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We specialize in the design and construction of townhomes, apartment-style condominiums, commercial development and single-family homes. Established in 2011, our ownership and management team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in real estate, engineering, and architectural design.
Job Profile:
We are looking for a full time Registered Architect to join our in-house design team. As a member of the team, your primary responsibility will be designing, coordinating, and inspecting our projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinating with the design and project managers.
Involves travelling between Saskatoon and project site.
Reporting to senior management on project progress
Prepares graphic drawings, diagrams for presentations and reports
Production of compelling design development work;
Production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks;
Coordinating with various municipalities.
Site coordination and working with project manager and site superintendent to solve construction and site issues.
Gather and organize site and building information
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Architect with the SAA and able to register in BC and Ontario.
Masters degree in Architecture or equivalent.
5 years of experience.
Knowledge of the following:
- Sketchup, Revit and AutoCAD
- Non-combustible Construction
- General Understanding of the National Building Code and familiar with a typical Zoning Bylaw.
