Description

Summary: The Sales Coordinator is a highly organized multi-tasker who is goal oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal operational teams.  Responsibilities include receiving telephone calls and email requests, booking meetings and events, securing details from clients and booking guestroom blocks as required. The Sales and Catering Coordinator responsibilities will also include telephone calls to past clients and a variety of other sales-related functions. Equipped with a Guest First attitude, this role is responsible for creating and delivering memorable moments for our guests.
Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities :( Abbreviated)
Provide support for the sales team in coordinating client bookings.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders.
Communicate with clients and secure details for events.
Receive calls and inquiries for short-out events and manage bookings.
Follow up with past clients to generate repeat business.
Assist with wedding bookings and wedding sales.
Support for out-catering sales and coordination.
Internal communication with Sales and Catering team and operational teams to ensure client needs are met.
Manage and update internal systems.
Review event invoices; approve and post for payment.
Knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotels.
Participate in property and corporate events as assigned.
Identify and resolve client concerns/issues to their satisfaction.
Education, Experience, & Skills: (Abbreviated)
Post-secondary education or hospitality certificate is an asset
Knowledge of hotel reservation operations/experience is an asset
Computer skills and knowledge of various programs
