Browns Socialhouse Moose Jaw is looking for a dynamic Sous Chef who can manage the business of the kitchen and is ready to excel in a challenging work environment. This person must be energized to join our group and must value the importance of creating strong relationships with his/her team. Role/Responsibilities:
* Conscientiously learn, observe and maintain Browns Socialhouse systems and operations
* Serve consistently excellent food to our exact specifications and within our time standards
* Manage food, kitchen labor, and other kitchen-related costs
* Oversee inventory and ordering, meeting budget targets, and conducting food cost analysis
* Maintain immaculately clean kitchens
* Ensure food delivery meets timing standards to our guests
* Maintain kitchen labor costs to agreed-upon levels
* Ensure high quality of food and presentation
* Ensure that proper food safety practices are followed
* Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of inventory
