Description

Minimum 3 year oilfield industry experience required.

Duties include:

Ensure employees safety training is up to date
Ensure bump test/ calibration of h2S monitors
Conduct or assist in ENFORM COR audits internally and externally
Complete corrective actions log/assign tasks, follow up
Conduct incident investigations using SCAT system and report to required agencies. Report findings to ops manager and staff
Complete audit action plan items
Be on call and available to assist when needed evenings and weekends
Recruit new employees, interview candidates, reference checks, screening, hiring packages, career opportunity postings.
New employee orientation, commencement documents and applicable training.
Assist management in all discipline & grievance procedures, investigation when required and provide documentation.
Providing additional reporting to outside agencies when required (WCB/SGI Carrier Profile/ISN/ Complyworks/ DOT/IFTA) and maintaining all reporting/correspondence.
CSO or NCSO training would be an asset, but willing to provide training to the right candidate.
Assisting in the implementation of HSE policies and procedures, and preparation of new policies and procedures as they come about, conducting monthly meetings, regular jobsite inspections.
Prepare and manage site-specific safety plans
Administer and track GPS/ H2S Monitors and PPE
Track and deliver monthly statistics to management and to third parties as required (Hours/ incidents/ kms/ inspections)
Checking and filing safety paperwork such as drivers logs, pre-trips, etc.
Conduct / schedule annual certifications on safety equipment such fire extinguishers and SCBAs
Annual COI (certificate of Insurance) updates to all agencies
Upload WCB Clearance Letters when required
Annual payroll submissions to WCB SK / WCB MB
