National Car & Truck Rental in Regina is currently looking for a highly motivated professional Manager. This person must have a strong passion and understanding of how to develop, manage and effectively lead the daily operations of our Regina locations. The manager in this position is expected to be an experienced and effective leader with excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics.
Responsibilities:
You will have full responsibility for the airport and off-airport operations and will oversee all personnel and operational functions of both locations. You are responsible for managing staff, delivering quality customer service, increasing sales and revenue, scheduling adequate staff coverage, handling customer issues and requests, and training new personnel. In addition, you are responsible for the rental fleet for our operations and the staff that maintains it. You need to be aware of daily and hourly reservation and return counts, vehicle make and model availability, preventive maintenance schedules, etc. The compensation package includes a competitive salary plus profit-sharing bonus potential and benefits.
Requirements:
3 -5 years experience managing a rental car operation or other extensive customer service experience
Ability to direct and coach the National team
Excellent communications skills
Effective problem-solving, decision-making and sales skills
Availability to manage and monitor the business operations
Must have computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Must have a valid driver's license
