We are currently recruiting for a part-time kitchen steward to join our dynamic kitchen team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Regina.
Qualifications:
-Flexible & energetic with the ability to work under pressure
-Work independently and follow directions
-Responsible and reliable
Job Description:
-Effectively operate commercial dishwashing machine and meet sanitation standards
-Ensure all dishes, pots and pans, etc. be cleaned on an ongoing basis to ensure enough operating stock
-Stock dishes, pots, pans, etc. in designated areas in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations
-Ensure all washed items are put away in an orderly and timely fashion to avoid accidents and breakage
-Wipe up all spills immediately and keep workstation neat, tidy, and organized at all times
-Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks will be assigned on a regular basis
Qualifications:
-Previous kitchen experience an asset
-ability to stay on task and prioritize work load
-WHMIS Training will be required (and provided if necessary)
Work Requirements:
-Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads up to 35-40lbs
-Ability to stand on feet for full-shift
-Must be available to work weekends and evening shifts 3pm-11pm.
