Description

As an AutoCAD Drafter/Design Assistant you will:
-Modify or create general arrangement drawings, electrical schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, electrical single line drawings and electrical three-line drawings in AutoCAD software
-Adopt the companys existing wiring standards and have the ability to add to the standard as future projects require
-Travel to industrial facilities for information gathering and/or remote job assignments
-Work on projects with personnel of varying disciplines and skill levels to perform an array of drafting tasks

Qualifications:
-A degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution is an asset
-Proven AutoCAD skills
-Knowledge of ElecDes software package is considered an asset
-Design and drafting experience for electrical power systems
-Knowledge and understanding of common electrical symbology
-Knowledge in the following areas is an asset: Low Voltage switchgear, Medium Voltage switchgear, control/relay systems
