Browns Socialhouse Weyburn is looking for a Chef who is interested in working in a dynamic and face-paced environment with the opportunity to be part of our growth and expansion. We are looking for someone who is a strong line cook and leads by example. This person highly values the importance of creating a strong relationship with the Owner/Operator.
Role/Responsibilities:
-Continuously learn, observe and maintain Browns Socialhouse systems and operations
-Consistently execute food to our exact specifications and within our time standards
-Manage food, kitchen labor, and other kitchen-related costs
-Oversee inventory and ordering, meeting budget targets, and conducting food cost analysis
-Manage prep inventory
-Supervise menu rollouts and product updates, including training and quality control
-Ensure food delivery to our guests meets timing standards
-Continually train, develop and motivate quality employees
-Maintain kitchen labor and food costs to agreed-upon levels
-Ensure high-quality food production and presentation
-Make certain that proper food safety practices are followed
Requirements:
-Work well in a fast-paced environment
-Effective communication skills, both written and oral
-Ability to problem solve effectively
-Excellent organizational skills
-Demonstrate a professional attitude and foster a fun and collaborative environment
-A genuine ability to train, develop and motivate others
-Kitchen systems focus in a corporate environment
-Flexible work hours
-Possess a passion for food quality and an eye for detail
-Able to use Microsoft office and other required computer programs
