The Regina Open Door Society Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to staff the full-time term position of Settlement Caseworker from July 20, 2018 to September 10, 2018.  

Responsible to the Settlement and Family Unit Manager for direct delivery of life skills and enhanced orientation services to refugees with complex needs.  This position requires the knowledge and awareness of the challenges common to high-risk refugee families and of the cultural values and practices within the refugee community.  Requirements will also include knowledge of the settlement process (orientation, adaptation, integration), the demonstrated ability to relate to families undergoing high degrees of stress and the aptitude to handle high stress and emotionally demanding work environments.  Demonstrated maturity, a positive attitude, the ability to document cases, effective organizational, communication, computer and time management skills will also be necessary.
