SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES:
Creating design solutions with a high visual impact for our corporate and divisional brands, including automotive
Understanding the needs of the dealerships and working with the Marketing Managers and VP of Marketing to execute accordingly
Designing for a variety of products and media, including websites, advertising, magazines, posters, displays, and corporate communications
Managing more than one project at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time required
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
Proofreading to produce accurate, high-quality work
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media and design programs
Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of graphic design experience or equivalent schooling
Fluent in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Skills using basic HTML and CSS
Comfortable with big concepts and deadline-driven production
Strong attention to detail balanced with quick turnaround time
Agency or publication experience is considered an asset
Video editing experience also considered an asset
Overtime may be required
