Parkland College is currently accepting applications for a Coordinator of Essential Skills programming. This position has the ability to be based out of our Yorkton or Fort Qu'Appelle Campus.
The Opportunity:
The Coordinator, Essential Skills is primarily responsible for providing program development, enhancement and delivery of Essential Skills related workshops and programs to external clients.
This position is responsible for proposal writing and curriculum development and will supervise staff associated to Essential Skills programs.
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Education or the Human Services field. This education would provide knowledge and specialized skills in curriculum development, essential skills programming, as well as analytical and critical thinking, and research skills.
-Three (3) years of related experience in providing educational services and support to students, clients and employers. The experience demonstrated will include experience in curriculum development, facilitation, project management, adult education and/or other related areas.
-Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and directing the workflow of staff.
-Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
