The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising associates performance and managing tasks in a practical and objective manner. The Shift Supervisor maintains a safe and secure environment for all associates. In addition, the Shift Supervisor possesses the ability to react to customers needs with little direction.
Shift Supervisor duties will include, but are not limited to:
Greet all customers
Make sales transactions quickly and accurately
Coach and demonstrate suggestive selling techniques
Maintain stock and inventory using available tools and resources
Complete shift reports and account for inventory during vendor check-ins
Complete shift sheets and account for Cigarette & Lottery inventory
Maintain general appearance and cleanliness of store premises
Possess the ability to merchandise and keep records
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all customers and associates
Create positive store culture by treating associates fair and with respect
takes care of all invoices or payments made on daily basis
Experience/Qualifications:
Portray a positive attitude and great work habits at all times
Self-motivated; dependable
Strong customer service skills
Lift up to 50 pounds
maintaining 100% customer focus
Work as a team player
Problem solving skills
Basic mathematics skills
bachelors Degree/ B.Com or BBA preferred
Preffered Skills:
Retail background
Cash handling experience
Gas Station accounting and management skills preferred
preference will be given if some one ever owned or worked in a family owned gas station
Hours:
The Shift Supervisor can work up to 40 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed.
Salary/Income:
The Shift Supervisor is an hourly position.
