On a typical day, you will be responsible of:
-Provide medical/trauma care in an industrial/clinical setting
-Provide security coverage
-Work 12-hour shifts
-Complete & compile necessary paperwork in a timely and professional manner
-Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends
-Ability to walk/stand/sit/work in confined spaces for extended periods of time
-Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively in order to meet strict deadlines and work independently in a fast pace environment
-Work independently with minimal supervision as well as a member of a team
-Various duties as assigned/needed
You are the ideal candidate because you possess:
-PCP Certificate
-Current license with Sask. College of Paramedics (no restrictions)
-Current HCP/CPR Certificate
-Current ITLS Certified
-Valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Drivers Licence
-Working knowledge of the legislation, protocols and scope of practice for practicing level.
-Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
-Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal (candidates will be tested)
-Must be able to work shift work
-Drug and Alcohol Test required pre-hiring
-Security Course Certificate considered an asset

- Administer pre-hospital emergency care
- Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care
- Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
- Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment
