The Children's Summer Program Coordinator (CSPC) will be responsible for coordinating and incorporating daily cultural, social, and educational activities into an 8 week summer program for newcomer children ages 6-12.
The CSPC will be expected to introduce a wide variety of cultural, social, physical and educational activities to children and teach them about life in Canada.
The CSPC will also be responsible for overseeing and supervising the program as a whole including 2 paid staff and volunteers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with children
A passion for newcomers children and their families
Great communication skills
Program planning and organizing
Experience working with program budgets
Ability to supervise and be patient
CPR & first aid preferred
Criminal record check required
