We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of an organization that addresses inequities in our city and who is passionate about social justice and community development in low income core neighbourhoods. As Community Engagement Coordinator you will develop and implement innovative ways of telling our stories and provide outreach support for Quint by engaging with the community and other stakeholders.
Duties
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Engagement Coordinator will:
develop and implement a communications strategy for Quint
Manage social media accounts to promote community engagement
Write and design relevant and timely content through multiple media
Create monthly electronic newsletter and the annual report
Liaise with diverse communities and partner organizations by attending meetings and events
Contribute to the development and implementation of community events and activities
Oversee the development and maintenance of Quints website
Create press releases and garner media attention for Quints programs and events
Support the Marketing and outreach campaign of related organizations as directed.
