DUTIES:
The Cook is responsible to prepare and cook individual dishes and meals. This position oversees the kitchen operation, monitors supplies and ensures ideal food quality. The Cook is expected to keep a clean and tidy kitchen and working area, along with abiding by safety and sanitation requirements, in addition to other duties as assigned. Working hours require early mornings, evenings and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Grade 12 education is required. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision. Previous kitchen and food handling experience is preferred.
Must possess or be willing to obtain a Safe Food Handling certification.
This position is contingent on completion of a satisfactory criminal record check prior to start date.
