TW Commodities a division of ETG Commodities Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and within a team environment, demonstrates sound decision-making aptitude and delivery of customer service excellence. They will be responsible for the maintenance of our facility, including the following:


**Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.

**Fabricate, disassemble and assemble production equipment to gain access and to remove defective parts.

**Repairs or replaces defective parts.

**Monitor and track the performance of Plant equipment and new installations.

**Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant and offices.

**Weld and employ basic shop floor skills (drill, press, grinder and other metalworking tools).

**Improve and enhance machinery in operation process to be efficient and productive.

**Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.

**Provide regular reporting to senior management on operational issues.

**To be on call to carry out emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours.

**Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

**Work in compliance with TW Commodities Occupational Health and Safety Policy.

Employment Requirements:

**Prior experience in processing plant equipment preferred or 5 years of working experience in mechanic roles.

**Prior experience in welding, motors and electrical.

**Able to perform at a high level in a fast paced environment.

**Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Strong time management capabilities, with the ability to perform multitasks.

**Strong Sense of initiative and self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team.
