David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an outside sales professional. Our client is a Saskatchewan grown manufacturer with over 12 years of custom manufacturing and fabrication success.
The Role:
Follow-up on all sales inquiries and drive new business development
Provide customer and production support
Leverage strong technical knowledge and present value-added product solutions for customer requirements
Meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets
Implement sales goals and targets and meet with key decision makers to promote products and services
Lead estimate presentations and sell estimates to clients
Prepare cost estimates of materials, labor, and equipment usage to fulfill all contract terms and provisions
Create bid packages and bid alternative strategies that are accurate and complete
Provide recommendations on design and manufacturing processes
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a B2B sales role ideally within the fabrication and custom manufacturing industry
Experience in providing sales support throughout long projects
Preference given to candidates with sales, estimating and design experience related to steel fabrication
Strong communication skills with the ability to retain and convey technical information
Self-motivated, outgoing, energetic, positive team player open to taking on a new challenge
