GMS is seeking a highly motivated HR professional focused on maximizing organizational effectiveness, enhancing the employee experience, and continuing to build a culture of high performance. As the HR Advisor you will interact, lead, and champion many of the HR functions across the organization, including; compensation, talent management, talent and organizational development as well as regulatory compliance. Each day will provide a new opportunity to think big, learn, and support the amazing staff at GMS.

Position Responsibilities
Partner with managers to actively support their people and projects.
Work collaboratively with the Director, HR on projects and strategic initiatives.
Facilitate and/or deliver internal and external training initiatives.
Analyze current HR practices and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement, with the goal of continuous organizational development.
Administer employee relations, benefits, performance management programs, retirement procedures, compensation, discipline and employee counseling.
Be an active brand ambassador when acquiring new talent for GMS, and lead the recruitment process to bring on new GMS team members.

Education & Experience
1-5 years performing in a similar position with experience in payroll and benefit administration.
Exposure to HRIS systems and knowledge of best practice(s) in the industry with regards to employment and HR processes.
