SoilVision Systems Ltd. is a next-generation geotechnical & hydrogeological software company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
We are seeking a motivated, individual to help in the growth of our company. The successful candidate will become our Summer Projects Technician. This role requires solid communication skills (written & verbal) and an aptitude for learning technical software applications. This position is dependent on successful award of the Youth Green funding opportunity provided by the National Research Council. This is a four-month position and eligible individuals must be:
Between 15 - 30 years of age (inclusive)
A Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
Legally entitled to work according to Saskatchewan legislation and regulations
A first-time participant in a Youth Employment Strategy work experience program targeted at youth
The ideal candidate would have:
Be personable and people-oriented
Numerical Modeling Experience would be an asset
An aptitude for learning technical software
Key Requirements:
Full-Time for the project period, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Personable and team-work orientated
Solid communication skills (written & verbal)
Learn the capabilities and features of SoilVision products
Apply new knowledge to perform benchmarking tests of existing software being tested and present results of tests as an ongoing process
Help develop models for inclusion in our tutorial manual
Help further detail the steps required to learn our software
Other Assets:
Knowledge of SoilVision software products
Previous computer modelling experience
Programming skills (VB or C#.net)
Project Experience
Multi-Lingual
