The RCMP Heritage Centre requires Summer Interpreters for full-time term positions that will run May through September, 2018. These positions require fluency in both English and French. Other language(s)are beneficial.
Interpreters are the first point of contact for the guests of the RCMP Heritage Centre. You will be responsible for providing excellent guest service through the delivery of public and educational programming in a team environment, comprising aspects of public and educational programming, admissions and gift shop duties.
Description of Tasks:
You will be required to provide guest support, deliver tours and educational programs, follow and ensure security measures are adhered to, become proficient with the Heritage Centre's admission software,provide support for the gift shop staff and other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
This is an excellent opportunity for students attending education, history, humanities, or social science programs. No degree or certificate is required. Candidates should be comfortable with Windows O/S and be comfortable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet applications.
