The Position:
The individual will join one of our project teams developing software for systems that include real-time equipment control, complex proprietary communication protocols, high-availability/scalable architectures and graphical user interfaces featuring sophisticated real-time updates and complex data visualizations. SED software developers experience all phases of the software development lifecycle, including the installation of systems to sites located all over the world. Through the development and delivery of complex systems on time, on budget and containing the exact features our customers need, SED software developers are able to acquire the skill set needed to tackle sophisticated software challenges within dynamic project environments all while providing top-quality customer service.
The Person:
- A Software Developer position will be of interest to candidates with:
- A 4-year degree in Computer Science or a 3-year Computer Science degree combined with an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics degree;
- The ability to integrate well into a team environment, to quickly solve complex problems, and to easily adapt to new technologies; and,
- Proficiency in C++ and Java.
